Master Rosmundo Giarletta was born.


At the age of 14, Rosmundo started High School of Art in Varese, where, during his studies, he came across a book of Benvenuto Cellini - “Trattati dell' oreficeria” - and built his desire to become a Master Goldsmith.


After obtaining his diploma and due to his pure artistic talent, Rosmundo graduated as a Master Goldsmith in just 1 year, instead of the typical 5 years.


Rosmundo started to work as an apprentice at the Master Goldsmith Lido Bacci's workshop, based in the House of the Goldsmiths near the famous Ponte Vecchio in Florence.


The love and passion for the historical sites of his homeland, such as Pompei, the Amalfi coast and Paestum, led Rosmundo back to his hometown Eboli where he established his workshop - Rosmundo Bottega Orafa.


Rosmundo graduated as a Diamond Grader from the Gemological Institute of America - GIA.


Rosmundo was selected as an excellence of the Goldsmith Art of Italy and he was invited to attend the International show of the Principality of Monaco, where Prince Albert II was captivated by his craftsmanship and the Honeycomb technique.


He consigned his first Masterpiece ''Te Deum'' to His Serene Highness Prince Ranieri III of Monaco at the Prince's Palace of Monaco.


He created 5 silver coins to commemorate H.S.H. Ranieri’s III 50th Anniversary of Sovereignty.


Rosmundo organised and launched “Campagna feudo dei Grimaldi alla corte di Onorato II” show that started from the Metropole Palace in Montecarlo, Principality of Monaco, and ended in Salerno, Italy, with the support of H.S.H Ranieri III, the then Italian president Carlo Azelio Ciampi and the Ministry of the Cultural Heritage.


Master Rosmundo created another Masterpiece - "Parsifal" - for the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the International Music Festival at Villa Rufolo - Ravello, Amalfi coast, where he obtained a general success and was complimented by the Grimaldi family in Montecarlo.


H.S.H. Princess Carolina of Monaco appointed Master Rosmundo as a "Knight of Art and Culture", thanks to his art, the Honeycomb technique and his masterpieces.


Rosmundo realised and exhibited the Masterpiece - “Passioni dell’ uomo” - inspired by an ancient pavement of the 4th century B.C. - in occasion of the launch of the International Heritage Park of the ancient Volcei (Buccino).


Rosmundo participated in the international exhibition "Gioielli Regali" at the Royal Palace of Caserta.


The magnificent creation - “La Scafa” - has been realized for the 200th anniversary of the death of the painter Philipp Hackert. For this occasion, Master Rosmundo was invited to be the first modern artist to exhibit his Masterpiece “La Scafa”, together with Hackert’s paintings, at the Royal Palace of Caserta.


Rosmundo participated in the “Curiosities of the Antiquity... Trips of the Ancient and Modern Travellers in Salerno” exhibition where he showcased his creation - “Gran Tour”- inspired by a trip around Europe, commonly undertaken by the European upper-class at the time.


Rosmundo Bottega Orafa launched its showcase of high jewellery at the exclusive luxury Belmont Hotel Caruso in Ravello on the Amalfi coast.


Rosmundo and his family presented their creation - “Al Noor”- in Abu Dhabi, and were the first Western family in the Middle East to present a masterpiece inspired by the Muslim Paradise described in the Quran.
